You know those days where you look at something and say…. how did that get so dirty? Well, that was me, and my apartment’s filthy windows. Honestly it’s hard to keep things like that clean in LA… especially with the recent fires – they’ve left a thin film over nearly everything.
But! All that grime gave plenty of opportunity to test out a new, green window cleaning method. Which involves a bucket 1/4 of the way full of water, a few glugs of white vinegar, a rag, and some newspapers.
Exhibit A: Rag I used to wash the window down.
Exhibit B: Old newspaper for wiping off the solution and shining that window up.
Exhibit C: Cute organic cotton leggings… very comfy to clean in =)
Exhibit D: Porch garden… the lettuce looks nice, no?
Exhibit E: Not pictured – my photog friend Rebecca who snapped this shot.
Gotta say, I was skeptical about the old newspaper and vinegar method when I read about it… I thought that the newspaper would leave streaks, or get messy. It was actually super easy, inexpensive, and green. Success!

i thought something looked different…
goat and baby thank you.
