These amazing bowls are fashioned out of the waste that outdated technology creates. Telephone wires turn from unsightly garbage on the side of the road in Vietnam into these beautiful, hand-woven pieces. Throw your keys, spare change, and guitar picks in the small bowl, and lemons and candy in the large. Colors will vary.

As the importers of these products, the SPIRAL Foundation has operations in Vietnam and Nepal, and is inspired by the principle of "aid from within the country." Currently, 500 Vietnamese and Nepalese are employed with fair wages based on an hourly rate. The proceeds that are generated by producing these handicrafts go back into the community to finance humanitarian aid projects that include primary health care, medical, and educational projects. |
